Program Overview

Prehistoric Archeology is a cultural-historical science. She explores cultural history before the onset of written traditions and also the material culture of the Middle Ages. The goal of the study is the acquisition of basic archeological skills, ie basic scientific knowledge, methods and work techniques based on selected topics. These include, in particular, the development and presentation of scientific questions as well as the ability to classify and interpret archaeological sources in their cultural-scientific and historical context, as well as the understanding and linking of theoretical and methodological foundations.
