Program Overview

The field of geography combines scientific and sociological approaches and lies in the area of overlap between the geological, biological, social and economic sciences. The study deals with spatial development problems and the interactions between humans and the environment, especially between economic activities and the natural balance. It is internationally oriented and examines natural, social and economic areas in different continents. Of particular importance are natural hazards, landscape ecology studies, urban development and international relations. The Bachelor program Geography teaches basic knowledge, facts, methods and ways of thinking of science geography as well as the ability to deepen and apply them in the profession.
