BA Political Science

The central objects of political science are political institutions such as government, parliament, the judiciary, parties, administration or international organizations, administration polity, the conflicts of interest and power mechanisms that determine political processes politics and the political content and programs in individual policy fields policy. At the mediation level, political education also comes into play. The aim of the course is to provide students with comprehensive scientific and professionally applicable knowledge of political fields e.g. social policy, environmental policy, European policy, political institutions and political processes at national, European and international level. Special focal points in Bremen are international relations and global social policy.
