Program Overview

The bachelor's degree in psychology leads to a first professional qualification. It includes extensive methodological training (research methods, statistics and data analysis), training in the basic areas, which deals with perception and memory processes, learning and emotions as well as the biopsychological basics of human behavior and experience. Furthermore, questions of personality and the development of individuals in different cultures and age groups as well as the behavior and attitudes of groups are examined. Other areas that are taught in the bachelor's degree are diagnostic methods and the application subjects of disorder theory, general method theory of psychotherapy, Preventive and rehabilitative concepts of psychotherapeutic action as well as the basics of educational psychology and work and organizational psychology. Important training contents are also the research internship and the job-related internships as well as the bachelor thesis.The bachelor's degree in psychology was designed on the basis of the licensing regulations and contains all the content relevant to the bachelor's degree.
