Human population ageing is going to cost us dearly, but until the problem looms large enough to be keenly felt, most people seem to spare little thoughts to it. According to the Hong Kong Population Projections 2015 2064, the percentage of people aged 65 or above will reach 28% by 2034, with the figure shooting up to 33% by 2064.
