The purpose of the bachelor's degree program is to train Christian social workers (deacons) who, relying on Christian values, in the evangelical spirit, and possessing the global principles and basic methods of social work, are able to provide help to their fellow human beings in need in a holistic approach. They are prepared to contribute to the management of inequalities caused by social tensions and are able to cooperate in an interprofessional manner with specialists working in various fields of the social and health care institutions of the state, municipalities, churches and civil organizations
