Applicants must have successfully completed a secondary/high school qualification equivalent to the Hungarian Matura (secondary school leaving certificate).
Corvinus accepts national secondary school qualifications, the IB Diploma Programme, Cambridge qualifications, and other internationally recognised secondary school credentials.

English language proficiency (minimum equivalent B2 level) submitted no later than 1 August
For Business Informatics, applicants must also satisfy the university's Mathematics requirement through one of the accepted mathematics qualifications or entrance examination.
IELTS Academic: A minimum overall score of 6.0 is required.
TOEFL iBT: A minimum score of 72 is required. & TOEFL (Paper/ITP where accepted): A minimum score of 65 is required.
Corvinus accepts the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. For the mathematics requirement, applicants should have IB Mathematics Standard Level 5 or Higher Level 4. If no overall IB score is specified, an IB Diploma with approximately 24 points or above is recommended for a competitive application.
Corvinus officially accepts Cambridge qualifications with one of the following combinations: At least 2 A Levels and 3 GCSEs (grades A–C/9–4), or At least 3 A Levels and 1 GCSE, or At least 4 A Levels. For Business Informatics, A Level Mathematics with a minimum grade B satisfies the mathematics requirement.

Corvinus mathematics entrance exam consists of 26 questions, 60 minutes, problem solving and data sufficiency, arithmetic, elementary algebra, geometry
