"The two main pillars of mathematics teacher training are the acquisition of professional mathematical knowledge and methodological preparation. It is not necessarily the smartest mathematician who is the best teacher, but of course it is impossible to transfer knowledge without certain basic knowledge. During your studies, you acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and then learn how to pass this knowledge on to others. The harmony of theory and practice appears in all areas of training. You can gain insight into the main branches of mathematics, such as analysis, algebra, geometry, and statistics, while also getting to know teaching methods, tools, and tricks. In the first year, we make sure that even those who were not necessarily students of one of the top high schools ""get into the picture"" - we help them with refresher courses and repetition of high school material."
