Program Overview

The training of Hungarian humanities specialists who have reliable knowledge of the Hungarian language and language use in general, as well as the phenomena of Hungarian and world literature, its historically and sociologically changing forms, processes and fundamental cultural connections. The aim is also to introduce the basic procedures necessary for the interpretation of linguistic and literary phenomena. They are prepared to continue their studies in a master's program (e.g. literature, applied linguistics, Hungarianology/Hungarian as a foreign language).
