Program Overview

During the BA education, students first get a glimpse of the basics of philosophy, ethics, aesthetics, film and art history, communication and religious studies, and get to know the most important figures and trends in the history of philosophy. They learn an optional ancient language from the first semester. The next training phase provides a deeper insight into the science of religion and subfields of philosophy, and also introduces you to the most important chapters of the history of religion. The last phase of the training partly offers lectures explaining the problems of today's religious practice, partly small religious history and religious theory seminars, including readings of texts in classical languages
