BA (Honours) in Business

The BA (Hons) in Business at NCI is a modern, flexible degree designed to prepare students for dynamic roles across the global business landscape. The program provides a well-rounded education in core business areas, with opportunities for real-world experience and academic progression. High-achieving students can specialise in key business areas in later years and apply for a competitive, credit-bearing work placement in Year 3.

• Optional year-long work placement between Years 2 and 3 (competitive entry, adds one year)

• Assessment through a mix of continuous assessment and exams each semester

Course Overview:

• Year 1:  Academic Management Skills, Business Law, Financial Accounting

• Year 2: Financial Management, Management, Project Management, Entrepreneurship

• Year 3: Business Statistics and Analytics, Economic and Social Policy, Marketing Management, along with elective modules which includes Capstone Project Preparation 

• Optional Year 3: Credit-bearing, full-time work placement in a relevant business role
