4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
he BSc. Nursing (Intellectual Disability) full-time four year degree programme is offered by the Department of Nursing & Midwifery, University of Limerick in conjunction with ‘AVÍSTA’ a service that supports people with disabilities. The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland has approved the BSc Nursing (Intellectual Disability) programme. The theoretical component of the programme offers the diversity of a small class size for discipline specific modules and large class size for modules shared with other nursing and midwifery disciplines. Clinical Skill Laboratory/Tutorial sessions compliment many classroom lectures. Additionally, throughout the four years of the programme a wide range of practice placement experiences are incorporated including early intervention, day-service, residential, respite and community settings. On successful completion of the programme, you will be able to present for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and practice as a Registered Nurse Intellectual Disability (RNID).
A minimum average grade of 70% in Standard XII from CBSE / CISCE / State board. IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any component.
