Curriculum Structure
Year 1

Year 2
Year two deepens your craft with bigger creative challenges and team projects. You’ll make Short Screen Productions, explore Screen Lighting and Cinematography, and enhance your visual communication in Visual Storytelling. Alongside this, Creative Editing and Production Sound refine your technical expertise, while Professional & Portfolio Development prepares you to present work that stands out in the real world.
Year 3
In your final year, you’ll transition into professional practice with advanced modules like Studios & Outside Broadcast, VFX Compositing, Sound for Film, and Film, Cinematography and Post-Production, where you apply your skills at the next level. The semester culminates in a Media Production and Technology Placement Practice, giving you valuable industry experience and connections that can launch your career straight from university.

Hands-on production and post-production: using broadcast and filmmaking equipment to shoot projects, learning digital photography and cinematography techniques, and practicing creative sound design and editing in dedicated suites.
Group and interdisciplinary project work: many modules, such as Short Screen Production and Visual Storytelling, involve collaborative shoots, team editing, and creative decision-making that mirror real studio environments.
In-house Production Unit opportunities: structured industry work practice within TUS gives you the chance to take part in student-led productions and contribute to festival-ready films.
