The curriculum gives students an introduction to the academic work in criminology and how to translate research findings into more efficient and fair work in the field, which makes the most of the limited public resources available to the law enforcement system. The program provides answers to many questions dealing with crime, understanding the causes of crime, and coping with crime. The goal of the program is to expose students to a variety of theoretical, research and practical issues related to crime. Another goal is to bring law enforcement professionals closer to the academic field of criminology and to enrich them with the knowledge and ability to translate research findings into more efficient and fair work on the ground, making the most of the public resources available to the law enforcement system.
Higher Secondary School Certificate + one full year of study at a recognized university, a minimum score of 85 on the Psychometric sub-score / Amiram Test or 185 on the Amir Test , personal interview, Entrance exams for groups, Preparatory certificate, Previous Academic Studies, Additional scientific subject, Agricultural background, Previous professional background, Threshold requirement in mathematics, a minimum score of 105 on the YAEL/YAELNET or minimum level Dalet on the Proficiency Test
