Program Overview

The three-year course through which one becomes Orthoptist-Assistants of Ophthalmology foresees, during the first year of the course, the acquisition of biological, anatomical, physiological, biomedical and neurophysiological notions fundamental for the understanding of the physiopathological and sensory phenomena of vision. In the following two years the teachings are aimed at providing the scientific, methodological and cultural bases for the theoretical-practical preparation of a highly qualified professional figure in the field of prevention, diagnostic evaluation and rehabilitation related to many diseases of the visual apparatus.
