During the Earth Science course at the VU you learn how to understand how our planet Earth 'works'. You immerse yourself in mountains and rocks, fossils and minerals, ice sheets, rivers and the ocean. In climate change in past, present and future. You start with the natural science aspects of the Earth, with mathematical models and physical or chemical measurements. During lectures and practicals, but especially during the many excursions and fieldwork.
