Education in the field of study allows you to acquire knowledge, skills and personal and social competences in the field of obtaining plant and animal raw materials of appropriate quality and technological suitability. During the studies, knowledge is developed in the field of commodity assessment of raw materials, skillful preparation of dishes, with particular emphasis on regional dishes, selection of appropriate unit operations in the process of preparing dishes, running a catering establishment from the technological, economic and organizational and legal side, staff education and improvement, planning rational nutrition for different groups of the population, recognizing risk factors for diet-related diseases and preventing these diseases, assessing the nutritional status, conducting nutritional education.
