International Business Management

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Civitas University

Program Overview

The BA in International Business Management at Civitas University is a three-year, full-time programme designed for students who want to understand how companies operate, compete and expand across international markets. Taught entirely in English, the course suits globally minded students interested in business strategy, marketing, trade, negotiation and managing multicultural teams.

Curriculum Structure

Civitas University publishes the programme’s compulsory modules but does not officially assign individual subjects to specific study years. The following structure therefore presents a logical learning progression based on the official course content.

Year 1

Students begin by developing the essential communication, analytical and decision-making abilities required in a business environment. Modules such as Communication Skills, Basics of Critical Thinking and Innovative and Creative Thinking help them present ideas confidently, assess information carefully and develop practical solutions to business challenges.

Year 2

The second stage focuses more closely on understanding customers, markets and the international economic environment. Through subjects such as Market Analysis, Consumer Behaviour and International Economics: Trade, students learn how to investigate market opportunities, understand purchasing decisions and evaluate how global trade affects organisations.

Year 3

In the later stage, students strengthen their ability to manage business relationships and make strategic decisions across different countries and cultures. Courses such as International Marketing, Cross-Cultural Management, Negotiations and Business and Labour Law prepare them to handle international expansion, diverse workforces, commercial discussions and the legal aspects of business activity.

Focus areas: International market analysis, global trade, international marketing, consumer behaviour, negotiation, cross-cultural management, business strategy, organisational culture, management problem-solving, business and labour law.

Learning outcomes: Graduates learn to assess global trends, understand the dynamics of international markets, identify customer needs across different cultural settings, develop business growth strategies, manage diverse teams and establish professional relationships in international, remote and hybrid working environments.

Professional alignment and accreditation: Civitas University holds a positive evaluation from the Polish Accreditation Committee and is an accredited Polish higher education institution. It also holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education for 2021–2027 and is a member of recognised Polish and European academic organisations.

Reputation and employability: Civitas University ranked 10th among non-public universities in Poland in the 2026 Perspektywy Higher Education Ranking and placed 3rd nationally for internationalisation. The university also states that ministerial ELA research indicates its graduates successfully enter employment in industries connected with their interests, although programme-specific employment rates and salaries are not published.
