BA Management: International Business

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of Technology and Arts in Applied Sciences Warsaw

Program Overview

The Bachelor’s in Management – International Business at the University of Technology and Arts in Applied Sciences in Warsaw, formerly WSEiZ, is a three-year programme created for students who want to build a career in global companies, international trade or overseas market development. Students learn how businesses operate across borders, how cultural and legal differences influence decisions, and how to manage marketing, finance, logistics and teams in an international environment.

Curriculum Structure

The official programme page lists the subjects included in the degree but does not place every module under a specific year. The structure below therefore presents a natural progression based on the official curriculum.

Year 1

In the first year, students build a strong foundation in business, economics and professional communication. Modules such as Fundamentals of Management, Microeconomics and Basics of Marketing introduce how organisations are managed, how markets behave and how businesses create value for customers.

Students also strengthen their numerical, legal and digital abilities through subjects such as Mathematics, Fundamentals of Law and Information Technology. These areas help them develop the confidence needed to understand business information and make well-supported decisions.

Year 2

The second year takes students further into the financial and operational side of organisations. Through modules such as Accounting, Corporate Finance and Logistics, students learn how companies manage money, control resources and move products efficiently between markets.

Subjects including Marketing Research, Statistics and Human Resource Management also help students understand customer behaviour, interpret market information and manage people from different professional and cultural backgrounds.

Year 3

In the final year, the programme becomes more focused on international strategy and cross-border business activity. Students study modules such as International Marketing, Foreign Trade Enterprise Management and Financial Markets and International Settlements, developing the ability to plan global expansion, manage overseas transactions and adapt business strategies to different countries.

They also explore EU Customs Systems, International Freight Forwarding and Transport, International Economic Organizations and the Tax System in Poland and Selected European Countries. This gives students a practical understanding of the legal, logistical and financial conditions that influence international trade.

Focus areas: International business management, global marketing, foreign trade, export management, logistics, customs systems, international finance, market analysis, taxation, European Union law and multicultural team management.

Learning outcomes: Students learn how to analyse foreign markets, develop international marketing and sales strategies, manage cross-border business activities, understand customs and tax regulations, organise international transportation and work effectively with employees, customers and business partners from different cultures.

Professional alignment and accreditation: The programme has a practical academic profile, with the university stating that approximately 64% of the course is focused on practical skills and 18% on professional internships. It awards 180 ECTS credits and leads to a recognised Polish bachelor’s degree in Management, supporting further education and employment across the European Higher Education Area.

Reputation and employability: In the 2026 Perspektywy ranking of vocational higher education institutions, the university reported 1st place in Warsaw among private vocational universities, 6th place nationally among private vocational universities and 11th place overall among vocational universities in Poland. The university also reports more than 18,000 graduates and over 30 years of educational experience.
