University of Warsaw

Program Overview

The Business & Management (Bachelor’s) at the University of Warsaw gives you a well-rounded understanding of how businesses actually work — from managing people and finances to making strategic decisions in a global environment. It’s a great fit if you want a flexible business degree that keeps your career options open while building both practical skills and strong academic foundations.

Curriculum Structure

Year 1:
You start by building your core understanding of how organisations operate and make decisions. Through modules like Introduction to Management, Organisational Theory, and Marketing Basics, you begin to understand business environments, consumer behaviour, and how companies structure themselves — giving you a solid base to build on.

Year 2:
In the second year, things become more applied and career-focused. You’ll explore areas like Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, and Operations Management, learning how businesses manage teams, compete in markets, and optimise their processes — all through real-world examples and case-based learning.

Year 3:
Your final year is where everything comes together. You’ll study advanced topics such as Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Business Strategy, while also completing a mandatory internship (around 90 hours) and your final project — giving you real industry exposure before graduation.
