Pedagogy is the science dealing with describing, explaining and transforming the educational reality and the processes taking place in it that support the lifelong development of a person. Studies in the field of pedagogy enable the development of interests and abilities, deepen self-awareness, teach how to build positive relationships with other people. Students acquire a wealth of knowledge in the field of humanities, psychology and social sciences, supplemented with knowledge in the selected field of education. The studies prepare them to work with children, youth and adults in various institutions and social situations. Depending on the selected scope of education, students gain qualifications to conduct care, educational, animation and advisory activities and to work as a career counselor at school.
