BA in English Philogy

The offer of English philology is addressed to people interested in the English language as well as literature, culture and history of English-speaking countries. During the classes, in addition to general academic preparation, students develop knowledge of the English language and knowledge of the literature, culture and history of countries such as Great Britain and the United States. Additionally, linguistics and translation classes prepare students for the translator profession. Most of the graduates of English philology find employment, especially in workplaces where in-depth knowledge of the language, intercultural communication and English culture is essential. The vast majority of classes are conducted in English, and the expected entry level of students is B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
