Program Overview

Studying Russian philology at UWM means constant contact with modern teaching open to broadening and deepening your interests in the humanities. We guarantee thorough practical language education, both from scratch and at an advanced level. With our educational offer, we want to meet the needs of the national and regional labor market (national security, cross-border cooperation, support for local governments, business contacts, etc.). We provide the latest knowledge about the culture and history of Russia, the realities and political and social relations of the language area studied. We focus on educating critical thinking and striving for independence in exploring the world. We present the Russian humanities, philosophical and religious thought as well as literary achievements and the role of Russians in the history of Europe and the world in an interesting way.
