Program Overview

The student acquires knowledge of general issues of chemistry, based on the foundations of mathematics and natural sciences. In the program of studies with a practical profile, most of the classes are laboratories and exercises aimed at developing independent and creative thinking as well as acquiring the ability to apply the knowledge in practice. The program of studies in the field of chemical analysts and diagnostics is aimed primarily at educating graduates in the field of environmental sample analytics and analysis of raw materials and products. Graduates will be able to find employment in specialized analytical laboratories: industrial, sanitary and epidemiological, pharmaceutical, forensic, agricultural and environmental protection units. Graduates of the applied chemistry specialization obtain theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of environmental chemistry, food and cosmetic chemistry, and chemical technology.
