The curriculum of the BA programme Applied Modern Languages French/ German - English has been designed in line with the general orientation of higher education in Romania. Its goals and competence profile are developed in accordance with the needs identified on the labour market. The study programmeApplied Modern Languages has a 3-year duration and is structured on three basic directions -- core disciplines Contemporary modern language, terminology, specialized disciplines Translation theory and practice, French/ German/ English civilization, Specialized languages, Communication strategies, Business correspondence, complementary disciplines General economics, Applied informatics, European integration and Community institutions. The seminar and specialized practical activities are focused on developing translation skills and on solving specific problems to be faced by graduates in their future profession.
