Current trends in the development of the energy industry impose new requirements on specialists in the field of electric power and electrical engineering. The program is developed taking into account industry professional standards, is focused on the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of electric power and electrical engineering with in-depth training in the design and operation of power supply systems, capable of solving such types of professional problems as: - the use of physical and mathematical apparatus, methods of analysis and modeling, theoretical and experimental research in solving professional problems in the field of design and operation of power supply systems; -use of methods of analysis and modeling of electrical circuits and electrical machines; -use of the properties of structural and electrical materials in the calculation of parameters and modes of objects of professional activity; - measurement of electrical and non-electric quantities in relation to the objects of professional activity; - control and independent development of design and working documentation for power supply systems; - development of technical specifications for the design of power supply systems; - control over compliance with the schedule for the implementation of design work; - project work with engineers of related specialties.
