The object of professional activity of mathematicians and mechanics is the fundamental problems of mathematics, effective algorithms for solving applied problems, information security issues; objects of fundamental mechanics: deformable solid body, liquid, gas, plasma; a system of mathematical knowledge as a whole, including the general mathematical apparatus of science and technology (mathematical analysis, algebra, geometry and topology, differential equations, probability theory and mathematical statistics, discrete mathematics, optimization theory, computational mathematics), and a set of mathematical models of processes and phenomena in the natural, technical and socio-economic sciences in their systemic unity.
