Program Overview

Modern biophysics is a dynamically developing field of scientific research aimed at studying the basic physical properties of biological and ecological systems and phenomena from the structure and dynamics of molecules to the spatiotemporal organization of populations. Currently, the areas of research in biophysics are mathematical modeling, nanobiology, photobiological processes, as well as the physics of protein and membrane structures. All these complex areas are mastered by a biophysicist. The vital importance of biophysical processes and their complex nature require an interdisciplinary approach to solving the problems facing biophysicists.
