Program Overview

Bioengineering is a multidisciplinary programme with a core curriculum focusing on integral aspects of biomolecular and pharmaceutical engineering processes, such as protein engineering, biomolecular detection using innovative sensing devices and bioprocess quality assurance employing advanced bioimaging techniques. Integrated with the Second Major in Pharmaceutical Engineering, students in this unique programme will receive in-depth training in the development and manufacturing of pharmaceutical drugs to produce high-value and high-quality biological-based therapeutics.

General Paper of the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examination, 12 years of general education or will be taking High School national examinations in the year of application in order to be considered for admission, IELTS: a minimum of 6 for the Writing sub-test, TOEFL: a minimum of 570 (paper) or 90 (internet), SAT1: a minimum of 600 for the Verbal section; or 7 for the Essay section, Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry/Biology at Senior High School Level / IB Higher Level OR Computer Science at IB Higher Level, Physics at Junior High School Level/ IB Standard Level+
