Program Overview

Starting from August 2015, a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering with a Second Major in Society & Urban Systems will be offered jointly by the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Students will be trained with knowledge in social sciences aspects of urban systems planning and policy-making, while maintaining a firm engineering foundation over the normal programme duration (i.e. 4 years). Graduates from this programme will have enhanced competitive advantage and market value with a career in Sustainable Urban Systems.

Additional Information & Requirements

General Paper of the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examination, 12 years of general education or will be taking High School national examinations in the year of application in order to be considered for admission, IELTS: a minimum of 6 for the Writing sub-test, TOEFL: a minimum of 570 (paper) or 90 (internet), SAT1: a minimum of 600 for the Verbal section; or 7 for the Essay section
