Program Overview

The Civil Engineering programme is structured on a flexible and diverse system that allows you to choose from a broad range of courses to receive a well-rounded education while maintaining high academic standards. Students take the common engineering courses which deals with basic concepts in mathematics, science and fundamental engineering principles, followed by a balanced-mix of core courses in the civil engineering discipline. Courses offered include basic theory of structures, geotechnical engineering, water resources engineering, engineering drawing & measurement, structural analysis, design in concrete and steel structures, and specialized courses in foundation, transportation and environmental engineering.

General Paper of the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examination, 12 years of general education or will be taking High School national examinations in the year of application in order to be considered for admission, IELTS: a minimum of 6 for the Writing sub-test, TOEFL: a minimum of 570 (paper) or 90 (internet), SAT1: a minimum of 600 for the Verbal section; or 7 for the Essay section, Mathematics , Physics/Chemistry/Biology at Senior High School Level / IB Higher Level or Computer Science at IB Higher Level, Physics at Junior High School Level / IB Standard Level+
