Program Overview

The Bachelor of Engineering with a Second Major in Society and Urban Systems programme, jointly offered by the College of Engineering (CoE) and College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS), offers students an insightful interdisciplinary study on contemporary urban systems. Students will acquire understanding and develop appreciation for the rationale and processes behind the emergence, growth and evolution of the urban built environment from its natural environment. In addition to engineering and technological aspects, students will also engage with the social, political, economic and cultural considerations of urban systems planning and policy-making.

General Paper of the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examination, 12 years of general education or will be taking High School national examinations in the year of application in order to be considered for admission, IELTS: a minimum of 6 for the Writing sub-test, TOEFL: a minimum of 570 (paper) or 90 (internet), SAT1: a minimum of 600 for the Verbal section; or 7 for the Essay section
