Chinese is a four-year direct honours programme which provides a concrete foundation in both classical and modern Chinese literature, a deeper understanding of Chinese language, and a broader perspective on Modern China and the Chinese Diaspora in Southeast Asia. The programme aims to equip students with multidisciplinary research skills and bilingual capabilities. The faculty members are dedicated to high quality in teaching and research. They have strong and active interests in Modern Chinese Literature. Chinese Language, and especially the Chinese Diaspora in Southeast Asia.

Additional Information & Requirements

General Paper of the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examination, 12 years of general education or will be taking High School national examinations in the year of application in order to be considered for admission, IELTS: a minimum of 6 for the Writing sub-test, TOEFL: a minimum of 570 (paper) or 90 (internet), SAT1: a minimum of 600 for the Verbal section; or 7 for the Essay section, A good grade in Chinese at GCE O Level/ IB Standard Level / HSK Advanced Level
