Program Overview

The programme aims to provide a unique opportunity for students to be cross-trained in chemistry and biology with an emphasis on mechanism and synthesis. The new era of biomedical R&D requires interdisciplinary knowledge and training. Interdisciplinarity is the way forward to solve complex biological problems and to develop therapeutics for diseases. Students will be well equiped with knowledge in both disciplines and will possess the relevant skill sets to embark on careers in biomedical and pharmaceutical R&D.

General Paper of the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examination, 12 years of general education or will be taking High School national examinations in the year of application in order to be considered for admission, IELTS: a minimum of 6 for the Writing sub-test, TOEFL: a minimum of 570 (paper) or 90 (internet), SAT1: a minimum of 600 for the Verbal section; or 7 for the Essay section, Mathematics at Junior High School Level/ IB Standard Level AND Chemistry at Senior High School Level / IB Higher Level
