Horticulture and Breeding focuses on growing mechanisms, the latest cultivation skills, new breeding skills, and biotech knowledge of major plants (vegetable, fruit, tree, flowering) in horticulture. It also studies and researches the theory and technology in a wide range of new and diverse cutting-edge fields like resource plant, tourism agriculture, organic farming, etc. The domestic horticulture industry has become more important due to increased consumer interest in well being, and the expansion of international free trade.
