The Department of Forest Resources provides a broadranging education on diverse areas of forest resources Students of the Department are required to develop a strong understanding of forests by completing courses on Dendrology, Silviculture, Forest Management, Forest Ecology, Forests and the Environment, Utilization of Forest Products, Tree Physiology, Tree Pathology, Forest Policy, Forest Surveying and Forest Soil Science, and gain a handson understanding of the principles and laws of the forest ecosystem by visiting neighboring forests and making field trips to Naeseorak Five faculty members of the Department actively help students to build a rapport with nature
Certificate of Highschool graduation, High School Transcript, Certificate of University Graduation or Certificate of Completion, University Transcript, Home schooling, Qualification Exam in Korea or abroad during the high school education are NOT eligible, Level 3 or higher on TOPIK offered by either National Institute for International Education or Kongju National University, However, Applicants should meet at least one of the following requirements TOEFL 530 CBT 197, iBT 71, IELTS 55, CEFR B2, TEPS 600 or equivalent such as nationally accredited Private English Language Proficiency Test, Passport Photo, Proof of nationality and family relations, copy of passport, documents for proof of financial support
