The basic goal of Sino-Korean study is to understand Korean classics in Chinese, a branch of Korean literature. The major provides an intensive and focused Chinese reading comprehension program for freshman and sophomore students because the ability to read and comprehend Chinese is essential to the study of Korean classics in Chinese.
