The Oriental Painting Major trains art professionals who have a harmonious understanding of oriental painting and creativity through a wide range of theories and practices under the goal of pursuing modern formativeness based on the thoughts and aesthetics of traditional painting. By exploring the aesthetic values and characteristics of Korean art, and by experimenting with various material techniques, the tradition of oriental painting is inherited and developed to cultivate a modern aesthetic sense and creative expressive ability.
