BA Interior Architecture & Design

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Marbella Design Academy

Program Overview

If you’re someone who enjoys blending creativity with practical design, the Interior Architecture & Design (BA Hons) at Marbella Design Academy is built exactly for that. You will learn how to transform ideas into real, functional spaces—exploring everything from spatial planning and materials to lighting and digital design tools, all while building a strong professional portfolio.

Curriculum Structure

Year 1

The first year is all about building your creative foundation and understanding how design works in real life. Through modules like Fundamentals of Design, Communicating Design, and Interior Architecture Technologies I, you will start thinking like a designer and learn how to visually express your ideas. Alongside this, Design Projects in Interior Architecture I introduces you to real design briefs, helping you apply your creativity from the very beginning.

Year 2

In the second year, things become more technical and industry-focused. You will dive deeper into areas such as Advanced Theories for Materials, Technologies and Construction and Collaborative Multidisciplinary Practice II, while also learning tools like 3D modelling and rendering software. This year is where you begin working more independently, handling projects that reflect real-world design challenges and client expectations.

Year 3

By the final year, you are working at a professional level, shaping your own design identity. With modules like Theory of Innovative Interior Architecture, Sustainable Rehabilitation Practice, and your Final Major Project & Portfolio Review, you will create a complete design project from concept to execution. This is your chance to build a portfolio that showcases your strengths and prepares you for the industry.
