Program Overview

The objective of the Degree in Medicine is for the student to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to make the diagnosis, formulate the prognosis, and indicate the treatment of the most prevalent physical and mental illnesses, as well as adequately guide the approach to nosological processes infrequent or of diagnostic or therapeutic complexity that requires specialized attention, and likewise, being able to carry out disease prevention and health promotion activities at both individual and population levels.
