Biology has been said to be the star science of the 21st century. In the Faculty of Biology we have the responsibility of generating and transferring the concepts of this Biology to society, but above all we have and want to assume the inescapable responsibility of turning our students into professionals who will make Biology the basis for the conservation of our environment, the sustainable production of our food, our health care or the production of our energy, in conditions of accessibility to all of society.
