Program Overview

The Studies in Semitic Philology, with the Hebrew and Aramaic languages, are part of the very foundational origin of the Complutense University and of its first great work, the Complutense Polyglot Bible.Taking this Bachelor's Degree at the UCM will allow students who choose the major in Arabic to know and successfully use the Arabic language in which more than 400 million speakers communicate and to become familiar with Islamic culture, which brings together more than 1,500 million Muslims.They will also study the Hebrew language and the relevant culture of the Jews.They will also acquire knowledge of Persian or Turkish, and their literatures.
