The College of Agricultural Sciences and Fisheries Technology is a newly established college at the University that strives for Enhanced quality outputs in teaching, research and public services through addressing the following gapsInadequate value addition in agricultural and fisheries produce, Inadequate adherence to grades, standards and quality in agricultural fisheries products marketing.
Two Principal passes from Biology and any one of the following subjects Chemistry, Nutrition, Agriculture, Physics or Geography. A credit in Mathematics at O Level and a subsidiary pass at A Level is compulsory Equivalent Entry Diploma in an appropriate field of Biological Sciences such as Beekeeping, Agriculture, Fisheries, Wildlife Management or Forestry of not less than second class or grade B from recognized institutions. A credit in Mathematics at O level and a subsidiary pass at A level is compulsory, CSEE or equivalent, with passes in FIVE approved subjects THREE of which must be at Credit level obtained prior to sitting for the ACSEE or equivalent; Two principal level passes in appropriate subjects in the ACSEE or equivalent, equivalent Diploma of not less than Second class/Credit level or B grade, minimum score of 100 obtained from MAEE consisting of a score of at least 50 in Paper I and 50 in Paper II, copy of the birth certificate and enclosing photocopies of O level and equivalent qualifications Certificates
