The University of Dar es Salaam School of Law is one of the academic units of the University of Dar es Salaam. Situated on the University main campus in A B Weston building, the School is the oldest higher education training institution in Tanzania. Since its foundation in 1961, the Faculty continued to offer undergraduate and postgraduate studies to date. In 2009, the University changed structures of its academic units to improve their efficiencies. Consequently, the Faculty of Law became School of Law.
Any two or more principal level passes, candidates who do not have principal passes in History and English at ACSEE must have credit passes in the two subjects at CSEE Equivalent Entry Diploma obtained in not less than two years of study from an accredited/recognised institution of higher learning of not less than Upper Second Class, CSEE or equivalent, with passes in FIVE approved subjects THREE of which must be at Credit level obtained prior to sitting for the ACSEE or equivalent; Two principal level passes in appropriate subjects in the ACSEE or equivalent, equivalent Diploma of not less than Second class/Credit level or B grade, minimum score of 100 obtained from MAEE consisting of a score of at least 50 in Paper I and 50 in Paper II, copy of the birth certificate and enclosing photocopies of O level and equivalent qualifications Certificates
