Farm Structures and Irrigation, major branch of Agricultural Engineering, sometimes described as an Agricultural Civil Engineering can be defined as a science about the optimum use of land and water resources, the protection and development of these resources, in every stages of production the creation of all the required environmental conditions for proper planning of buildings and facilities, design and construction and providing structural and physical development and taking long-lasting effects measures for agricultural enterprises. As related to the profession, courses are given related irrigation, drainage, hydrology, agricultural meteorology, irrigation structures, agricultural structures, land consolidation, rural settlement and environmental control, and applications in agriculture. Bachelors, Masters, and PhD education are included in the program
