BS Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Properties

Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property Undergraduate Program aims to train conservators-restorers who will carry out conservation and restoration processes of both movable and immovable archaeological and ethnographical cultural properties, which consist of both organic and inorganic materials, following international scientific criteria and professional ethics. The students who complete this program determine the material, the damage and deterioration on the material; choose the required applications and material to repair damages and bring deterioration under control and will plan and apply the entire process. They structure their planned processes according to their theoretical knowledge on the object/cultural property through determining problems, analysis and creating solutions and they write the required documents/reports.
