BA Theatrical Writing

ub-Department of Theatrical Writing which requires a special talent examination for entry is one of the three majors of Drama Department. The department which provides training for theatrical writing techniques study the changes and conversions of the dramatic forms from the ancient Greek texts to the contemporary texts. In order to students' correct interpretation by comprehending the history, the lectures are supported by minor disciplines and are given insight into the fields such as philosophy, psychology and history by using the course contents. The students use the theoretical studies in applied courses. The syllabus is enriched with both the common lectures in Sub-Department of Theatre History and Theory and Sub-Department of Acting and the selected lectures from other departments. Senior students write a gradution play by using the knowledge they acquired during the theoretical and practical training process.
