Program Overview

The Department of Computer Educationand Instructional Technology has been established as a result of thework under taken by The Council of Higher Education and The Ministry of National Education within the needs of The Ministry of National Education about to train teachers during restructuring the Education Faculties. Within this restructuring, Department of CEIT began accepting students in the school year of 1998 1999. Department has been giving graduates without interruption since 2002 with the Information TechnologyTeacher title.

A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish, Photocopy of the page of the passport containing the applicant's photo, 2 passport-sized photos, Applicants who hold dual citizenship (one of which is Turkey Republic), must submit a certificate of identity register, Applicants who apply pursuant to the Article 4 of the eligibility criteria must submit a certified document which states the complete fulfillment of secondary education abroad, Applicants who hold Blue Card, Choice of interview and Skype name, High School Certificates /Diplomas-a GCE A Level: Provided that the average grade is C in minimum; at least 3 A-Level; or 2 A-Level and 1 AS-Level scores from relevant subjects, International Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 33, with one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, French Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 14 in the stream relevant to the program applied, ABITUR -A maximum score of 2, one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, Pishdanesgahi-A minimum score of 18, Foreign Language Points: TOEFL(IBT) 163 (Comp.based), TOEFL(CBT) 68 (Internet based), IELTS-5, CPE-C, UDS-60, KPDS-60, YDS-60
