Program Overview

The Program of Primary School Education is a bachelor's degree program in the Department of Elementary Education in the Faculty of Education. There are some required courses which include field knowledge, teaching profession, general culture and practice in this program. Students can also take elective courses. Lessons are carried out theoretically and practically. Theoretical courses are carried out in classes equipped with technological facilities. Practical courses are given in three academic terms with the collaboration of the Faculty of Education, Provincial Directorates of National Education, and training schools and with the supervision of course teachers and teachers in training schools.

Pass the centrally administered entrance exam conducted by Student Selection and Placement Center OSYM, Complete the designated program of courses meeting a Minimum of 240 ECTS credit requirement and have a Minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 and no F1, F2, or Z grades, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
