Program Overview

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering undergraduate program admitted its first stream of students in 2005-2006 academic year. The first group of students graduated in 2010.The language of instruction in the program is English. The students must succesfully pass language proficiency test in English to begin their program. The program offers a solid background in Mechanical Engineering along with automotive engineering education which seperates itself from other similar programs. The graduates of the program mainly work in leading automotive, defense, machine, manufacturing and energy firms.

Additional Information & Requirements

A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish, Photocopy of the page of the passport containing the applicant's photo, 2 passport-sized photos, Applicants who hold dual citizenship (one of which is Turkey Republic), must submit a certificate of identity register, Applicants who apply pursuant to the Article 4 of the eligibility criteria must submit a certified document which states the complete fulfillment of secondary education abroad, Applicants who hold Blue Card, Choice of interview and Skype name, High School Certificates /Diplomas-a GCE A Level: Provided that the average grade is C in minimum; at least 3 A-Level; or 2 A-Level and 1 AS-Level scores from relevant subjects, International Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 33, with one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, French Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 14 in the stream relevant to the program applied, ABITUR -A maximum score of 2, one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, Pishdanesgahi-A minimum score of 18, Foreign Language Points: TOEFL(IBT) 163 (Comp.based), TOEFL(CBT) 68 (Internet based), IELTS-5, CPE-C, UDS-60, KPDS-60, YDS-60
